Eye Inside Productions was founded by David Ironside, a multi instrumental composer and producer from New Zealand. David has been involved in television, film and media production for over 25 years. In International and New Zealand projects he has worked as a researcher, writer, producer and composer for a wide range of companies.
This includes – HBO, Fox, Channel 4 (UK) TBS (Turner Broadcasting System) Discovery, PBS (USA) NHK (Japan) Tokyo Broadcast System, Warner Brothers, Natural History NZ, NZTV1, NZTV2, NZTV3 and Prime TV.
As a performing musician he has played and recorded with Blondie, Lou Reed and J.J. Cale.
In 2009 David won the Qantas Award for “Best Original Music in Television” for “Lost in Libya” TV1. A 90 Minute documentary about New Zealand’s Long Desert Patrol Group in Libya during WW2.
He is the creator, associate producer, co-writer and composer for “Is Your Cell Phone Killing You”. It aired June 2011 as part of the Inside New Zealand series on TV3.
